This is a new version of food courts where you order from your phone across all the restaurants. The atmosphere and decorations are very earthy and unique. It has an opened ceiling concept so one doesn't feel closed in. Overall, this is a nice place that provides a good environment to meet with friends, colleagues, and relatives. The food and prices are good and reasonable. Will definitely return.
Sundry restaurant in Las Vegas truly captivates with its exquisite culinary experience. The ambiance is sophisticated, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable meal. The diverse menu showcases a fusion of flavors, each dish meticulously crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff's attention to detail and warm hospitality enhances the overall dining experience, making Sundry a standout choice for those seeking culinary delight in the heart of Las Vegas. So thank you, my birthday dinner was amazing because you provided a unique experience for a large family with different tastes.
I was very intrigued by the concept, and am new to the food hall concept in general.
I'm quite unhappy with the Sundry experience.
First, the ordering is a digital only service. I'm not opposed to this in principle, but in practice this was severely lacking for several reasons. Bad cellular service caused the ordering experience to lag and I chose not to order a few things because the item would not properly load to be added to my cart. I also found the act of maikg the full order first and paying upfront to be distasteful and caused things to be poorly spaced out. In a normal restaurant I can order a drink or app to mull over while deciding on further food. Not so at Sundry. Pick what you want from the massive variety and then pay and wait. This is less pleasant than the established model most restaurants operate under.
The environment. We visited in January, when it is cold outside you can usually expect to enjoy the warmth of the restaurant as well as the warmth of the food. Not so in the Sundered Sundry. The hall itself was quite chilled, which outside of some select experiences, is unpleasant for dinner. We kept our coats on for dinner... I suspect the chill is due to the high ceilings of the hall, which also lead to a general loudness I found unpleasant but can understand that may not be universal.
The drinks are very high priced for a small cocktail, and the server couldn't find our table and went to two other before finding us. Our order had a table number, so not sure if that's a training issue or something else, but if there were a traditional server, I suspect this issue wouldn't arise. With that said, the cocktails were delicious and well made. The tiny clothespins were adorable, but a bit odd to pin the garnish to the glass outside of the cocktail, but I'm no bartender.
The food itself was delicious. The Sushi was a bit small for the price and the price we paid would normally be two special rolls at a regular sushi restaurant. The Vegetable Curry was delicious despite an unsavory mushroom, though I wish there were more curry for the amount of rice I received. The vegetables had a delightful crunch and the curry carried a delicious flavor and quickly warmed me.
There are fixes for what I consider ailments of this hall, but until mended, I would not recommend this Sundered Sundry.
I love the idea and the concept of this place. I love the birdcage themed seating. When we came, there was a guy singing, which was a really nice touch. When you scan the QR code, there’s lots of options to choose from. It took a while to go through everything and narrow it down but I love that you can mix and match and order from wherever you want. My only complaint was, there was no silverware Or napkins on the table and we had to request them after our food came. Also, we got seated by the back door which people kept coming in and out of so it was a bit chilly But other than that it was great. The food was great. Our server that brought it was great. I’m definitely gonna come back.
We had a great time at the new Sundry. Easy place if meeting a group as there is a variety of food options. Each seat at the table has an assigned QR code so I liked that each individual person can order and pay their own bill. This would not be a place my mom would enjoy alone as she would have trouble scanning code and ordering that way. I didn’t like that you were asking me for a tip before I even received any service. That needs to change as the service wasn’t great. Once we received our food, there wasn’t really anyone coming back to check on our drinks or check in with us so what are we tipping for. No different then a fast food order. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The music is way too loud so it makes it hard to enjoy a conversation.
Fine dining prices with self-service/quick-service atmosphere and experience. The food is good, but there is no service at all. You order and pay with QR code on your cell phone. There is no one to say Hi or Buy, but they still think they have the right to charge $26 for a glass of red wine and serve it in a small glass filled all the way to the top. The QR code ordering app is requesting a minimum tip of 18% for no service and minimum human interaction. No thanks. I didn't get enough value, nor good experience for the money.
The food was good. Probably if I go there again, it will be take out only.
I saw this place on IG and I was really impressed that it was 14 or so different food joints with over 100 different foods. I do like variety. So I’m sold. I wanted to try one thing from every spot. …
Wanted to check out UnCommon Mall so we came here for lunch.
You must wait to be seated by a host. Once you are at your designated table, Scan the QR Code as this gives the system the ability to recognize the table you are seated in.
What we ordered:
1.) Hamachi hand roll. Fish was fresh but on the bland side.
2.) Hummus. This was very bland I had to take it to go so I could season it at home. I probably will not order this again.
3.) Lobster Roll. While the Lobster was tasty it definitely is not worth $38.00 no way!
Although there are several different kitchens to order from, I would not recommend this place! Way over priced and I am one who does not mind paying higher prices, but it better be good food to match!
